TMPA

PPOA is a proud member of Texas Municipal Police Association, Texas' Oldest, Most Progressive, Full-Service Law Enforcement Association!

The TMPA mission is...

To promote professionalism in Texas law enforcement through education and representation.

The TMPA was formed in 1950 by Peace Officers representing all ranks and agency sizes. TMPA began as a lobbying group of municipal officers with the objective of promoting professionalism in Texas law enforcement as well as improving job conditions and enhancing communication among Texas peace officers.

In recent years, TMPA has evolved into a full-service law enforcement organization open to all Texas peace officers, reserve officers and public safety employees.

In addition to their successful legislative program, TMPA has a political action committee, provides local representation, legal assistance, TCLEOSE approved training, and a comprehensive package of membership services and benefits. They provide all of this to you while keeping dues at the most competitive rate in the state.

Membership dues are only $10.00 monthly.

The optional TMPA Legal Assistance Program is an additional $13.00 monthly.

TMPA is different from a typical labor organization in that their association most accurately reflects and responds to the needs and wishes of its members. As a member of TMPA you do not simply support TMPA...

You are TMPA!

As a TMPA member you'll have access to,

Legal Defense Plan - Auto & Home Insurance

Term Life Insurance - Dental Plans

Retirement & Financial Planning

Training & Education - Latest News

For more information, visit TMPA or email.

IUPA

The International Union of Police Associations is the only AFL-CIO union chartered exclusively for law enforcement and law enforcement support personnel. The AFL-CIO affiliation places I.U.P.A. in a position of strength within the labor movement. While I.U.P.A.'s officers, active and retired law enforcement officers, fight to improve the lives of their brothers and sisters in law enforcement, I.U.P.A. works to improve legislation that protects and affects public safety officers, as well as representing the needs of law enforcement officers and support personnel, whether that be for better equipment, more staff or a fair wage.
